New Financial Inclusion Project
It has been estimated that in the region of £50 million leaves the
RCUDA has played a leading role in drawing together a financial inclusion strategy for Rotherham Borough aimed at tackling this and other issues. The first draft of this report was presented in May 2007 to the Achieving Board which is part of the Local Strategic Partnership. The next step is to seek funding and support for the implementation of the stategy and pushing forward on some of the innovative ideas already underway. Co-ordination and the sharing of ideas and resouces are key to the success of this work. There is already a large and active network of organisations committed to this work.
