Welcome to Rotherham Credit Union Development Agency

Rotherham Credit Union Development Agency exists to:

enable Rotherham people to access locally based and fairly priced financial services through our network of credit unions;

promote better understanding of money management amongst children, young people and adults:

challenge unscrupulous lending practices:

support local credit unions by assisting with development; the provision of back office services and training in operational procedures and compliance issues:

recruit volunteers to work with credit unions and RCUDA

address issues of financial exclusion in partnership with other organisations including:

• RMBC's Debt Awareness Project
• Brampton Healthy Living Centre
• Valley Healthy Living

RCUDA works in partnership with the National Association of Credit Union Workers on the ongoing development and delivery of its accredited training programme.

RCUDA is a Company Limited by Guarantee whose Board of Management is drawn primarily from local credit unions.
